  • Recycle Saturday will be the 1st Saturday of every even month.
  • If you would like to provide alter flowers, the sign up sheet is hanging up.
  • Children and adult Lenten material are available in each of the vestibules.  Please help yourself.
  • Trinity Challenge by the Faith Formation Committee: $40 for 40 Days in Lent.  Consider donating $1 each day in Lent to be donated to the Society of St. Andrew, who has provided us with the free Daily Lenten Devotional books, Walk Humbly.  The combined donations collected after Lent will be given to The Society of St. Andrew who is a faith-based hunger relief nonprofit group, who provides food to those who live in poverty.  You will find offering envelopes a well as a coin box in both the front and back vestibules for your donation.
  • In lieu of a Lenten Bible Study, Pastor Elyse is sharing weekly Lenten reflections with us on our church Facebook page, as wellas having hard copies available in each vestibule.  Take a moment to ponder these thoughts each week.  Pastor Elyse welcomes your responses.
  • We are offering an Easter Drive Thru on Saturday, March 27 beginning at 1pm.  It will be held along the side of the church where the Easter Bunny will greet your children as they receive a bag of candy in their car.  
  • Donations of individually wrapped bite sized candy are needed for the Easter Drive Thru.  Please bring your candy donations to the church by Sunday, March 21.  A collection box is located in the back hallway.
  • Seneca County Opportunity Center’s ACT Council will host their annual Palm Sunday Chicken BBQ Drive Thru Dinner on March 28 at the Opportunity Center.  PREORDERS ONLY.  MUST BE PREORDERED BY MARCH 19 by calling Joan at 419-447-7521, #1134 or email jfredritz@senecadd.org.  Meals are $11 each.  See the back hall bulletin board for additional information.

 

  • Just a reminder:  To help protect and respect the privacy of those sick/hospitalized/care facilities, be sure to obtain the family’s permission first before announcing or requesting prayers.  Please say something to Jan if their name may be added to the  bulletin or newsletter prayer lists.
  • Online Giving available! We now have the option of donating to the church by using a PayPal account on the front page of this website. See the DONATE button. PayPal is a secure and trusted payment service that allows the convenience of giving donation online. If you have questions, please talk to Robin Tong or Harry Traxler.
  • Sycamore Community Food Pantry The Sycamore Community Food Pantry is open from 9:00am-1:00pm the 2nd and 4th Thursday for any person or family in the Mohawk School District area in need of help, in the basement of Sycamore United Church of Christ. For additional information you may call Sycamore UCC at 419-927-9707 Monday-Thursday from 9:00a.m. to noon.
