  • Trinity’s worship services have been cancelled until further notice.  Once we are able to hold worship again, the first Sunday back there will be a congreational vote on pastoral leadership.  While the church is closed, if you need to contact the church for any reason, please call the church office, 419-981-5808 or email trinityucc@bright.net.  Messages and emails will be checked during the week.  In addition, emergency contact information is provided on our phone message.  Take good care of yourself by taking the necessary health precautions to keep everyone healthy.
  • The Pork Loin Dinner has been cancelled.
  • If you would like to be a greeter on Sunday mornings there is a sign up sheet on the trophy case.
  • Recycle Saturday will be the 1st Saturday of every even month.
  • If you would like to provide alter flowers, the sign up sheet is hanging up.
  • Coffee hour is offered the 1st Sunday of every month.  There is a calander on the coffee table if you would like to sign up to do a Sunday.

 

  • Just a reminder:  To help protect and respect the privacy of those sick/hospitalized/care facilities, be sure to obtain the family’s permission first before announcing or requesting prayers.  Please say something to Jan if their name may be added to the  bulletin or newsletter prayer lists.

 

  • Pastor Elyse will offer a Lenten Bible Study each Monday evening beginning March 1 through April 6 from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.  We will look at the book, Renegade Gospel: The Rebel Jesus, by Mike Slaughter.  Pastor Elyse will have handouts available as you do not need to purchase or have read the book to attend this intriuing Lenten study.  Just bring your Bible.

 

  • We are accepting donations of bite sized individually wrapped Easter candy for the Community Easter Egg Hunt through April 6.  The Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 1pm at the old McCutchenville School grounds.  To help avoid any choking hazards, please do not donate any type of hard candies.

 

  • Sharon and Anna are taking Easter Flower orders through Wednesday, March 25.  Flowers available are Lilies, Daffodils, pink or red Tulips, or puple or white Hyacinths.  $9.00 each.

 

  • The annual Peanut Butter Drive for the children of Haiti is in progress through the end of March.  If you would like to donate jars of peanut butter, please drop off your donations to New Vision Radio 1800 E. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sanduksy, or A&A Grocery store in Upper Sandusky.

 

  • Online Giving available! We now have the option of donating to the church by using a PayPal account on the front page of this website. See the DONATE button. PayPal is a secure and trusted payment service that allows the convenience of giving donation online. If you have questions, please talk to Robin Tong or Harry Traxler.
  • Sycamore Community Food Pantry The Sycamore Community Food Pantry is open from 9:00am- 12 noon on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays  for any person or family in the Mohawk School District area in need of help, in the basement of Sycamore United Church of Christ. For additional information you may call Sycamore UCC at 419-927-9707 Monday-Thursday from 9:00a.m. to noon.
